Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026 · This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've written it to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

SaferHealth ("we", "us") provides a healthcare management platform for pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, diagnostic centres and laboratories. We are based at Lekki County Home, Lagos Nigeria. You can reach us at info@saferhealths.com or +234 (813) 566-2961. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and applicable data-protection regulations.

Two roles, two kinds of data

It matters who the data belongs to. We act in two distinct roles:

  • As a controller — for data you give us directly on this website, such as the get-started form (name, work email, phone, organisation, facility type, country, team size, message).
  • As a processor — for data that healthcare facilities enter into the SaferHealth platform, including patient records. That data belongs to the facility; we store and process it only on their instructions and never use it for our own purposes.

What we collect on this website

  • Details you submit through the get-started form, so we can contact you about setting up a workspace.
  • Basic technical information (browser type, pages visited) needed to run and improve the site.
  • Campaign parameters (such as the link that brought you here) when you arrive from a marketing link.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How patient data is protected on the platform

  • Isolation: each facility's data lives in its own separated space — one facility can never see another's records.
  • Access control: every user acts under a role with explicit permissions; staff see only what their job requires.
  • Audit trail: every create, change and deletion of a record is logged with who performed it and when.
  • Encryption: data is encrypted in transit, and credentials are stored using modern password hashing.

AI features

Where a facility enables voice clerking or AI summaries, audio and text are processed to produce the structured result and are not used to train models. AI features are optional and switched on per facility.

How long we keep data

Website enquiries are kept for as long as needed to follow up and for a reasonable period afterwards. Platform data is retained for as long as the facility maintains its account, and healthcare records may be subject to statutory retention periods that the facility, as controller, must observe.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, or to receive a copy of it. Write to info@saferhealths.com and we will respond within 30 days. If your data was entered by a healthcare facility you attend, contact that facility first — they control the record, and we will support them in honouring your request.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify facilities directly.
